Wellington Car Club has an amazing and unique history. This is recorded in our club magazines and event scrapbooks. We are grateful for the assistance of the NZ Lottery Grants Board - Heritage Fund for providing resources to allow us to get these magazines and books digitised, and to NZ Micrographical Services for undertaking the professional archiving work.

The PDF files for each year vary in size from 13MB to 180MB, so please be patient when downloading the files.

Event Scrapbooks

Wellington Car Club organised and ran a number of the early international rally events. These are scrapbooks that were created at the time, mainly with a news clipping service. So these document the events from the newspaper articles that were published. They provide a fascinating insight into the events and how they were reported on, back in the day.
