Our site is the source of info on our events, results from past events, clubnights and a record of the long history of the club.
The club is undergoing a revival so we encourage you to attend our events and clubnights and bring along friends and prospective members.
Wellington Car Club has an amazing history which we will record on this site. Any old photos and articles will be very welcome - email them to the leadership team or let us borrow and scan them.
Please pass on our web address
www.carclub.co.nz to anyone keen on cars and competitive driving in a fun and safe environment.
The club has the unique venues of Shelley Bay and Alexandra Road - these are some of the best tarseal sprint roads in the region. Dates are published during the year.
Our sanctioned competition events enable cars (of all price ranges) to be enjoyed at competitive speeds in safe and legal environments - speed events including hillclimbs, circuit racing, sprints and rallies. We also have driver training days at Manfeild which are really great for road cars of all types (for example a range of machinery from a DX Corolla ($ not many) wagon to an Audi RS6 ($200,000) - so we can accommodate any type of car in these events.
Our objective is to promote the best possible events and grow our menbership base. Car enthusiasts who realise the safe way to use and enjoy their car is at one of our events or thise with a dedicated race or rally car and wish to belong to a like minded club are really welcome. If you know prospective members - just remember
